Beamish July 2006

All the band enjoyed playing on a breezy day in the band stand at Beamish museum. A strong gust of wind saw the bass part of Radetzky march fly away never to be seen again. Several Band members are glad of this as it isn't our favorite march. Luckily our library has another forty to go at! Following the afternoons performance the adults packed away all the equipment whilst the Junior members disappeared off down the mine!

Saltburn Bandstand July 2007

Despite an overcast sky the sunshine held on, with only a few intermittent showers to dampen spirits. A tremendous audience turnout, with few seats left available, enjoyed a splendid afternoon of musical treats which saw the band in fine form.
